(Sorry, this language is not available yet!)

Welcome to the Knightfight Battle Server!
Here you can take part in international battles and compete with warriors from many nations and game worlds on the multinational battlefield. You take part in the battles using the weapons and equipment you were carrying upon entering the battlefield. You also bring along any medals you may possess that are currently found in your medal collection. You will be unable to change your equipment or modify your character in any manner at any time during the battle session and the level and experience of your character will not change!

 Battles
As a warrior on the battlefield your character will always have the maximum number of health points and your character level will not change. The Grand Marshal of Holstein - Battle Judge of the United Battlefield-Nations - determines and awards battle points and gold for victorious offensive battles. The reward depends on the battle efficiency of the defeated opponent; the stronger your opponent is compared to your own character, the greater the reward will be! The battle efficiency of a warrior depends on the character stats and equipment that the player was using on the home game world as the battle session was initiated and does NOT change throughout the entire battle session!

When and how often may I fight?
Depending on which type of battle session option you chose upon registering for the current session, you can carry out a certain total number of offensive battles and remain on the battlefield for a certain period of time. No matter which option you chose, you may never carry out more than 100 offensive battles within 24 hours. As on your normal home world, there is a cool-down period after each attack you carry out - the length of the waiting period depends on which option you chose upon registering for the current battle session. You cannot attack the same opponent within a 12 hour period and your character can only be attacked every 5 minutes.

 Battle Server courier
The courier service can be used to send and receive messages to and from other warriors on the Battle Server and also contains all battle reports over offensive and defensive battles you took part in. Since the Battle Server is international, it is important to consider whether the recipient is likely to understand your message BEFORE sending the message. You can only send messages to warriors who are currently logged into in a battle session on the same Battle Server you are located on. If the recipient is not currently logged into a battle session, the recipient can read the message after logging into the current battle session (the message will be marked gray). The same applies to and attack- and defence reports for the time period during which the player was not logged onto the Battle Server.

Premature end of a battle session
You can prematurely end a running battle session (see battlefield -> cancel battle session). If you decide to end a running battle session prematurely, you will receive no gold or experience points for the entire session! Please note that (depending on the battle session settings used!) you may be unable to participate in a new battle session for a certain period of time after ending the current battle session.

 End of a battle session
If either the battle session time period has ended or the maximum number of battles allowed for the current battle session type has been reached, your battle session will end. In this case the Grand Marshal of Holstein will credit your account on your home game world with experience points (based on the battle points accumulated during the battle session) and any gold you were able to amass during your battles. If you fulfil the requirements for a medal, you will also be awarded with that medal!

 Medals
For especially successful battle sessions awards may be granted. This occurs at the end of the battle session as well as at the end of a battle session season; the season starts on the first and ends on the last day of the calendar month. The medals are bestowed upon your character on your home game world. If you add them to your medal collection there, the medals will be visible to other players. All information about the medal applies to the Battle Server upon which the medal was won and the date and time at which the medal was awarded. No medals are awarded for battle sessions that have been ended prematurely. All medals can be kept permanently!

There are a total of 30 different medals in three different categories:

 Medals for your activity
Such medals will be awarded at the end of each battle session for events that may occur regularly on a Battle Server, such as a medal for carrying out a total of 1500 attacks, for stealing a certain amount of gold on that server or for participating in a certain number of battle sessions on a Battle Server.

 Medals for setting records
These medals are awarded once 100 battle sessions have been carried out on a Battle Server. At the end of the battle session any players who have fulfilled the requirements will be awarded a medal. The medals serve as a sort of "battlefield record".

Medal for a top-10 battle session during a battle season
At the end of each battle season (calendar month!) the Battle Server will distribute the seasonal awards to the medal winners on their home game worlds. All battle sessions that took place in the last season are used to calculate the winners. A typical medal description would be for example "Medal for being number 4 of the 10 warriors with the highest amount (2821) of gold awarded during season 08/2010 on Battle Server 1". There are 4 different colours for the medals: gold (1st place), silver (2nd place), bronze (3rd place) and black (4th-10th place).

The last 2 categories of medals also offer medals for the runners-up, these are the so-called "Medals of valour". They are awarded for especially disastrous battle sessions.

 Highscore
There are several different displays available in the highscore. Clicking on a column in the highscore sorts the data using that column as a reference. The battle success (S) is shown in every highscore table. Battle success takes into account data such as the number of victories, losses, battle points, the amount of damage caused to enemies and the total amount of gold awarded by the battle judge.

 PvP - current battle sessions
This highscore table sorts the warriors based on the success of their current (running) battle sessions. The 10,000 most successful players are shown and this table is updated at regular intervals.

 PvP - complete overview
This highscore sorts all players who have fought on the Battle Server based on their overall success over all completed battle sessions. This table includes any prematurely ended battle sessions and any losses or damage absorbed during those sessions! This table is updated at regular intervals and the PVP ranks are granted during the update process. Ranks are calculated based on the battle success (S) achieved. This value is reduced for all players daily by a certain small percentage; this is intended to reward activity and give new players a chance to fight their way to the top of the PvP overall highscore!

Intermediate results for current battle sessions
This table shows the players sorted according to their success in any battle sessions they completed during the time period you have selected for display. Battle sessions ended prematurely by the player are not counted. The display can contain multiple battle sessions for the same player if that player completed multiple battle sessions during the period you chose to display. The annual overview includes the 10,000 most successful battle sessions for the past year. The annual overview is updated at regular intervals and the others are updated continuously.

 Complete overview
This highscore table sorts the best 10,000 completed battle sessions according to their success. Multiple battle sessions for the same player may be shown, as the table is based on session data and not player data. This overview is updated at regular intervals.

 International overview
This is an overview of the average success for battle completed sessions sorted by the nationality of the warriors' home game worlds (updated at regular intervals).

 Battlefield ranks
The top 1000 warriors in the PVP - complete overview each receive an individual rank title and rank symbol that is shown in their character avatar. The rank and symbol remain indefinitely but will change if the rank changes. The Grand Marshal of Holstein grants the following ranks:

 Logout
Using the option "Logout" in the main menu you can leave the Battle Server. This also happens automatically after a certain period of inactivity. If your computer is used by more than one person, you should also log out of your account on your home game world to ensure that no one has access to your battle session. The "Battlefield" option in the main menu on your home world can be used at any time to return to the Battle Server and continue a running battle session.
